ANNOUNCEMENT: His Excellency Dr Nayef Al-Hajraf to deliver Founders Address at Mansion House Summit on November 4

THE Digital Commonwealth is delighted to announce that the Founders Address at the next Mansion House Summit will be delivered by His Excellency Dr Nayef Al-Hajraf.

Barely a week after the magnificence of the Egyptian Hall within the historic Mansion House echoed to the stirring words of Baroness Scotland during our previous event, we can reveal Dr Al-Hajraf, will be our special guest on November 4.

Currently serving as chairman and co-founder of Capital Asset Management, Dr Al-Hajraf is a distinguished policymaker, regulator, visionary leader and forward-thinking strategist.

With more than 20 years of experience, he is renowned for his extensive contributions in leading public and private sectors, financial and investment institutions and educational leadership. He is also the sixth Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, serving from 2020 to 2023, Kuwait’s 19th Minister of Finance, and chairman of the Kuwait Investment Authority, serving from 2017 to 2019.

Before that, His Excellency served as Kuwait’s Chief Securities Regulator in his capacity as chairman and Managing Director of Kuwait’s Capital Markets Authority, from 2014 to 2017where, during his tenure, the Kuwait Stock Exchange (Boursa Kuwait) witnessed a significant reform and qualified for FTSE and MSCI indices.

In addition to his primary roles, he has served on various policy and corporate boards, including Kuwait’s Supreme Petroleum Council, Bahrain and Kuwait Bank, and the Arab Investment Company, just to name a few.

Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and is the co-founder of Capital Asset Management, DFSA regulated.

Al-Hajraf holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Hull, United Kingdom, and a Masters in Accounting degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He obtained his Bachelors degree in Accounting from Kuwait University and served as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Kuwait’s Gulf University for Science and Technology early in his career.
