BLOCKCHAIN telecommunications platform Minutes Network has been announced as the headline partner for The Digital Commonwealth Awards.
The inaugural showcase event - following directly after The Digital Commonwealth Mansion House Summit on Monday April 28 - will honour the very pinnacle of talent in blockchain, crypto, AI, fintech and digital assets.
There are 25 trophies up for grabs across a slew of categories championing industry leaders, innovators, start-ups and well-established businesses.
And today, The Digital Commonwealth revealed that the headline partner for the awards is Minutes Network.
By leveraging blockchain technology and its proprietary Mintech engineering, Minutes Network is building a new sharing economy for telecoms, while redistributing value back to participants.
Delivering highest quality wholesale termination services at the lowest possible cost, Minutes Network uniquely rewards users for making and receiving voice calls.
Working with mobile application partners, and well on-track to have direct access to more than two billion users by 2030, Minutes Network already terminates millions of minutes monthly across Tier 1 carriers and is set to become the world’s largest telecoms operator by userbase.
Utilising the DePIN infrastructure powered by the Minutes Network Token (MNTx) - its Web3 utility token - and backed by strategic partnerships and a highly-engaged community, Minutes Network is setting a new standard for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and real-world blockchain adoption in telecoms.
"Minutes Network is delighted to partner with The Digital Commonwealth at the 2025 Awards," said Josh Watkins, Minutes Network’s CEO.
"With our own projects making significant progress across the DePIN, Web3 and sharing economy sectors, we think it is fitting to take the opportunity and support and recognise other, fellow Commonwealth innovators who are at the forefront of the new global technological revolution.
"We wish all the award nominees every success and look forward to a very special evening on April 28th at The Mansion House."
James Bowater, CEO and founder of The Digital Commonwealth said he could not hide his delight at having Minutes Network as a headline partner.
"I could not be more thrilled to welcome the brilliant Minutes Network as our official headline partners for our very first Digital Commonwealth Awards," he smiled.
"Using blockchain technology to be a transformative disruptor in the telecom sector by delivering lowest cost call termination mirrors the financial inclusion ethos of The DCW and shines a light on the benefits of technologies we strive to champion."
